Tucked into the tranquil setting of Driggs, Idaho, this intimate custom residence emphasizes comfort and immersion in the surrounding natural beauty. With a design approach that prioritizes warmth and connection, the home is thoughtfully scaled to offer a sense of coziness while still taking full advantage of the breathtaking views of the Big Hole Mountain Range and glimpses of the Grand Teton.

The materials echo the regional landscape, using Corten steel for the roof, which melds gracefully into the natural environment, and blackened wood siding, offering both contrast and harmony with the local surroundings. The dark tones of the wood provide a rich texture that complements the rugged landscape, while local stacked stone forms a foundation that feels grounded and enduring within its context.

This home focuses on creating an enveloping, intimate atmosphere where the comfort of the interior spaces is matched by the serenity of the exterior. Designed for longevity and to withstand the unique weather conditions of the area, it is a serene retreat that balances modern luxury with a deep connection to the local environment.
